This is what we picked tonight from the garden.  We have about 3 gallons of green beans, a dozen or so tomatoes, lots of peppers and cucumbers and of course our eggs.  We were also able to get a few strawberries, blueberries and 4 raspberries!  We have already harvested our potatoes and onions.  We ended up with 250 onions.  We chopped half of them to freeze with some of our peppers and we hung the other half in the basement to use throughout the winter.  We also tried our hand at storing the potatoes in a metal garbage can.  We alternated the potatoes with sand to fill a 40 gallon can.  I hope it lasts all winter and we will start to can the rest of our goodies!
